Prior to and since becoming President, many have questioned Barack Obama’s foreign policy. Because of a range of factors including close associations and comments from then candidate Obama and later as President, some have questioned whether the President, as past Presidents have done, is a strong supporter of allies like Israel and whether he is a committed advocate of America’s interests and values of exceptionalism at home and abroad.
