Canadian PM condemns Obama and West for not supporting Israel

BQI Editor

As an American, I am so embarrassed and ashamed of this president and what he is doing to America and our friends. He continues with his fundamental transformation of America.

One final note - as America, in particular this president and many youth on our college campuses, turn away from Israel one has to be concerned with the welfare of America. America is great because we were founded on Judeo/Christian principles and we are or at least have been, a Christian nation committed to Israel and the Jewish people and for this support God has bestowed His blessings on us. I fear now that because of Obama and the Progressive ideology,  God will remove His hand of blessings on America if we don't return to our biblical past.

Canadian PM condemns Obama and West for not supporting Israel

By Thomas Rose, BREITBART

In a stunning rebuke of President Obama’s tepid calls for Israel to show “restraint” in response to daily rocket fire on Israeli civilian targets by Hamas terror redoubts in Gaza, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, long considered Israel’s best friend and strongest defender, all but condemned President Obama by name for what he regards as Washington’s irresolute support for Israel during its time of grave crisis.
In perhaps his most strongly worded statement to date, Prime Minister Harper proclaimed that self defense is “not merely an Israeli right” to be exercised only in the abstract, but an “Israeli obligation” that must be defended by all Western nations.

“Failure by the international community to condemn these reprehensible actions will encourage these terrorists to continue their appalling actions,’’ Harper said in a rare Sunday statement. “Canada calls on its allies and partners to recognize that these terrorist acts [by Hamas] are unacceptable and that solidarity with Israel is the best way of stopping the conflict.”

Forget about the U.S.-Israel relationship being the bulwark of Israeli security, say some. Israel’s best friend and staunchest defender is no longer found in Washington, but rather inOttawa.

Has Hamas ended the prospects for a two state solution?

Ben Gurion International Airport, near Tel Aviv, Israel. (Image source: Wikimedia Commons)

July 22, Hamas's decision to fire rockets in the direction of Ben Gurion Airport may well have ended any real prospect of a two-state solution. Whether the regulators and airlines that have stopped flights to and from Israel are right or wrong, this stoppage cannot possibly be tolerated by a democratic country that relies so heavily on tourism and international travel. It is of course a war crime to target an international civilian airport, as Hamas has clearly done. Israel has every right to keep that airport open, employing all reasonable military means at its disposal. Since Hamas fires its rockets from densely populated civilian areas, there will be more Palestinian civilian deaths.

This of course is part of Hamas' grand strategy: by targeting Israeli civilians and international air travel from its own civilian areas, Hamas leaves Israel no choice but to take military actions that risk the lives of innocent Palestinians. There will be even more innocent Palestinian deaths now, as Hamas has raised the stakes considerably for Israel. Every country in the world would do everything in its power to keep open the airports, which are the lifelines to its economic viability. Hamas knows this and welcomes Israeli military action that produces more dead Palestinian civilians and hence more international criticism of Israel.

Obama Encounters an Apex of Anger

By Alan Caruba, BQI Contributor and Publisher of Warning Signs Barack Obama has managed to do something one would hardly imagine a President could achieve by the midpoint of his second term. He has managed to anger most segments of the American populace, including those to the far Left who constitute a significant part of his base.  It has taken time for most people to reach this point. Americans are amazingly patient with their presidents, but Obama has pushed them beyond scandal fatigue. The “final straw” appears to be the illegal alien invasion masterminded by Obama. What they are seeing and hearing is not what they were sold; a charming man of allegedly extraordinary intelligence. Friday’s press conference regarding the shoot down of the Malaysian commercial aircraft showed us a man utterly lacking any moral outrage and, as always, “leading from behind” by insisting this was Europe’s problem, not one that would be addressed by an America doing anything more than applying a few economic sanctions. “Jihad City”: The Hague

BQI Editor’s Note

This video of the “beloved one” would suggest that the topic of today’s article is being played out in America as well as Europe. But then again, the “beloved one” wants America to look more like Europe anyway; just another example of his fundamental transformation of America.

"Jihad City": The Hague
by Timon Dias • July 18, 2014

With Western countries as enemies, why would jihadists need friends?
In Western Europe, cultural relativism is still the norm. There is no such thing as better or worse, there is only different. One should not consider one value superior to another value, no matter what these values actually are. And it had better be different the way one thinks it should be: not "politically incorrect."

Former Netherlands Chief of Defense Peter van Uhm says that he respects jihadist fighters in Syria because they are fighting for an ideal. That this ideal refutes every Western ideal that he himself holds dear, apparently does not affect his apparent respect for jihadists.
Dutch national law, however, has now been subordinated to European Union law.

Yilmaz, a well-known Dutch-Turkish jihadist fighting in Syria, will on his return home to the Netherlands be entitled to a host of special welfare benefits unavailable to other, normal citizens.

The former Netherlands Chief of Defense, Peter van Uhm -- whose son was killed by an IED in Afghanistan the day after Van Uhm was appointed Chief -- recently caused a controversy during a radio show about native fallen sons. He stated that Dutch youths who have chosen to fight in Syria should be respected for their idealism and their willingness to defend the women and children of Syria against Assad.
He later also stated that people judge these youths too easily: "The question whether their environment and our society have made sufficient efforts in keeping these people on the right track, is too rarely asked. You have to understand these young people, otherwise you cannot hope to help them." Van Uhm later added that he "Could not approve of their [jihadists'] modus operandi."

MSNBC …..What a laughing stock.

Another reason for America’s downfall

When you have a complicit, incompetent news source you have an uninformed mindless public. Too many Americans use MSNBC as a source for their news. They will mock and ridicule anyone looking at a professionally run news organization like Fox, one that consistently wins the viewer ratings hands down, while they watch the bottom dwelling pseudo news sources like MSNBC. Well this “professionally run” news agency had this happen to their clueless reporter.

Greenpeace showcases its anti-human side

From the author, Paul Driessen:

I had a surreal experience last week, being interrogated by a Greenpeace activist, on topics ranging from climate change to funding, an anti-Greenpeace protest … and something he really did not want to discuss: the lethal impacts of his organization’s policies on billions of impoverished, malnourished and diseased people around the world.

As I have noted many times previously, 2.5 billion people still do not have electricity or get it only sporadically, and so must burn wood and dung for heating and cooking. That results in widespread lung diseases that kill two to four million people every year. No electricity also means no refrigeration, safe water or decent hospitals, which means virulent intestinal diseases kill another two million annually.

Greenpeace and its fellow eco-imperialists are directly responsible for much of this misery and death. Their anti-technology, anti-people campaigns insist that the far-fetched and illusory risks of using modern marvels of electricity, insecticides and biotechnology are worse than the life-threatening dangers those technologies would reduce or prevent.

Thank you for posting my article, quoting from it, and forwarding it to your friends and colleagues.

Have a great week!

Is Criticizing Obama, Racist?

By Alan Caruba, BQI Contributor and Publisher of Warning Signs

I predict that, as Obama’s approval and popularity continues to decline, we will hear him and his soul mate, Attorney General Eric Holder, increasingly express the view that their race has something—maybe a lot—to do with the criticism they receive.

In a recent ABC News interview Holder said, “There’s a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that’s directed at me (and) directed at the President. You know, people talking about taking their country back…There’s a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some, there’s a racial animus.”

Well, duh! Of course, “for some people” there’s a racial animus because “some people” are racists, but the AG neglected to note that they come in all colors, not just white. Nor are they exclusively Republicans.

Do Liberals Suffer from Arrested Moral Development?

What 10-year-olds and liberals have in common.

Do kids outgrow socialism? A fascinating new study, “Fairness and the Development of Inequality Acceptance,” [subscription required] published last week in the journal Science by researchers at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration sheds some light on individual moral development. It turns out that as people move from childhood through adolescence to young adulthood they become increasingly meritocratic, that is, they come to believe that people deserve unequal rewards based on their individual achievements.

The Norwegian researchers studied about 500 children beginning in the fifth grade through the 13th grade (ages 11 through 19) as they played modified versions of the dictator game. In the standard dictator game, a sum of money, say $100, is divided up between two players. The dictator decides how much to keep and how much to give the second player, the responder. Interestingly, research shows consistently that most dictators do not keep all the money.

Mexico is Deliberately Aiding Illegal Aliens

By Alan Caruba, BQI Contributor and Publisher of Warning Signs

It no doubt strikes a lot of Americans as odd that a U.S. Marine reservist, Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, a 25 year old California native who had served two tours of duty in Afghanistan, was arrested in March for illegally entering Mexico when he made a wrong turn in Tijuana. Being in possession of registered firearms, about which he informed the customs officials, didn’t help. He is still in jail while awaiting a court judgment.

The Spirit Says ‘A Great Awakening Is Coming to This Nation’

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” Psalm 33:12

George Washington - First President of the United States of America

“It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.”

John Adams -President of the United States of America, First Vice President, Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Signer of the Bill of Rights, and Signer of First Amendment:

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

John JayFirst Chief-Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court

"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is their duty – as well as privilege and interest – of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."   [From U.S. history quotes about God and the Bible]

The USA is a covenant Christian nation. We are one nation under God. The Christian majority is the largest group in America (~75%, 2012 polling). Yet in 2008 America elected a man who professed to be a Christian but, since his rise to office, has acted in a way where now a significant number of Americans consider him the most biblically hostile president in our nation’s history. As a result, America has seen one of the greatest declines in it’s stature in the world, economically, militarily and morally in quite some time.

Those who are honest in their assessment will acknowledge that with the rise of Barack Obama America  seems to be a drift, having the sense of a dark cloud perpetually hanging over the country. Conservatives and Christians especially have a greater belief that we are under attack by this administration in a way unlike we've ever experienced and, in some ways, more reminiscent of how Christians are persecuted and attacked in Muslim countries around the world. Sadly more is to come but as Christians we know this but we also know that we are saved by the Word of God and with this Word we do not cower in fear; rather we knowingly live by the Holy Spirit and under Divine Providence and we wait for the day of His return.

Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States

"Without God there is no virtue because there is no prompting of the conscience...without God there is a coarsening of the society; without God democracy will not and cannot long endure...If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a Nation gone under."
- Ronald Reagan

Thomas Jefferson, Founding Father

"I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever."
- Thomas Jefferson, 1871  [From Patriotic Religious Quotes]

The Spirit Says 'A Great Awakening Is Coming to This Nation'

When I kicked off a preaching series at a local church, the senior pastor charged me with bringing a word about politics.

I knew it would be a hard word because the body of Christ is divided over Democrats and Republicans, as well as many of the political issues they stand for.

As I ticked down some of the harsh realities we've come to face over the last several years, most of the congregation was eerily silent. I read and report on these issues every day, but it dawned on me that many don't follow the state of the union as closely. The looks on their faces revealed that they hadn't previously heard much of what I was saying.

Here's some of what I shared about the slide our nation has taken in the past several years:

Barack Obama’s Continued Dissing of Black America

BQI Editor’s Note

I apologize for this long introductory comment but this is an issue that’s close to home and is very frustrating for me.

In both of the last two presidential elections, blacks supported Barack Obama in large numbers. In my debates…o.k. heated arguments with my black friends and family members; I often would and still ask the question, what has Obama done to deserve this level of support.

The Congressional Black Caucus Has No Conscience

BQI Editor’s Note

Congressional Black Caucus, Complicit Black Caucus, Crappy Black Caucus even Communist Black Caucus…hey what’s in a name?

Well if you are the former, the Congressional Black Caucus [CBC], one is led to believe that you represent a body of black thought and action all geared towards improving, from a legislative perspective, the well-being of people of color – blacks. In reality though, the CBC is anything but an organization seeking to improve the lives of black folks.  More aptly, they, like practically all politicians, are all about promoting themselves and their marginal political power. I say marginal because as the article below points out, if they in fact had real power, they would more likely use that power to promote good. Instead, they cow down in fear of offending the first black president; a man who disrespects them and, given his narcissism, likely mocks and ridicules them behind closed doors, for this is what arrogant, self-indulgent narcissist like Obama do. But this piece is not about Obama, it is about a group of black people who have managed to live without a conscience, good morals and values and who knowingly, as pointed out in the article, promotes policies and programs that actually hurt the very people they swore to serve and protect.

Obama’s Massive Illegal Alien Invasion

By Alan Caruba, BQI Contributor and publisher of Warning Signs

On January 29 the Obama administration posted a notice for “Escort Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children” on At that time the estimate was for 65,000 children and the escorts were needed to help the children being transported to “Refugee Resettlement shelters located throughout the continental United States.”

Calling the orchestrated deluge of aliens invading the nation “refugees” simply obscures the fact that all are engaged in illegal entry; a crime the last time I checked. How many are actually children and how many are much older is unknown, but we do know that many are bringing with them diseases that can spread to the general population and others are arriving with criminal intent. The children are merely pawns.

The question that has yet to have been answered is how did the Obama administration know in January that the “children” would be arriving later in the year?

What Americans are witnessing is a planned illegal alien invasion of the nation, orchestrated by Obama.

Unleashed Upon America: Obama Unchained!

My fellow Americans, we are all bit players in the making of a metaphoric slasher movie, “Obama Unchained” starring Barack Hussein Obama.

Here is a summary of the movie. It is a heartwarming tale about how the mainstream media and Democratic Party suckered America into electing their extreme far-left dream president; a Trojan Horse in the form of a black man.

Once in the Oval Office, Obama began incrementally implementing his socialist/progressive agenda and iron-fist pressure on Americans to conform. Everyone, including a 175 year old order of elderly Catholic nuns were forced to comply to Obama's decreed anti-biblical new moral standards or face termination. Only donors, labor unions and favored friends of his royal Obamaness totaling over 2000 are unlawfully granted exemptions from his tyrannical overreaches hidden in Obamacare.

We had hoped that he would fail as president.

In 2009 Rush Limbaugh said that he hoped Obama would fail as president. Rush, as did conservatives like me, predicted that the election of Barack Obama would result in massive chaos in America and around the world. We also predicted that we would become weaker as a nation economically, militarily and that our international relationships would be severely damaged with our friends no longer friends and our enemies strengthened. Today as a direct result of Obama, his policies, actions and inactions, we now have the following:
1. Gender division – war on women
2. Racial division – blacks will be put back into chains
3. Ethnic division – conservatives hate Hispanics
4. Hatred for the 1%
5. Hatred for banks and big business
6. Hatred for capitalism
7. Hatred toward good Americans - Tea Party patriots are racist
8. Routine Constitutional violations
9. Mass chaos on the southern borders
10. Egypt no longer a strong ally
11. Iran has been strengthened
12. Russia is on the move and our relationship has worsen
13. Iraq in chaos
14. Syria in chaos
15. Libya in chaos
16. Israel betrayed
17. Poland & Western Europe betrayed – defense missile system not installed
18. England snubbed – return of Churchill bust
19. Canada snubbed – XL pipeline
20. America’s massive debt has grown
21. The dollar is weaker
22. The nation’s healthcare system is destroyed or severely damaged
23. The economy is stalled
24. Scandals galore [ IRS, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, NSA, James Rosen, AP, Veteran’ Hospital, Solyndra ]
25. Massive [real] unemployment exists
26. Long term high gas prices
27. Massive increase of Americans on public assistance – food stamps
28. America has become a nation more dependent on government and are less free
29. Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations are emboldened and strengthened
30. America is less respected around the world

Recent polls show that Obama is the most disliked, untrustworthy post WWII president, beating out Richard Nixon and believe it or not, Jimmy Carter. Unfortunately, America and millions of Americans have suffered because so many fellow citizens refused to see who Obama really is and instead chose to create history with his election. Well, history has been made. We elected our first black, socialist/Marxist president who has fundamentally transformed the country.

“Colored People” OK; “Redskins” Not So Much

Colored People: Defined in Webster’s Dictionary-

sometimes offensive :  of a race other than the white; especially :  black

So according to Webster’s some blacks would find the term “colored” to be offensive while others might not..  O.K. that pretty much jives with how I see schizoid black folks. Some are too stupid to know when they are being offended or taken advantage of while others don’t care. It’s sort of like how we use the “N” word; some freak out even at the thought of anyone using the word while others will defend to their death their use of the word while attacking others, non-blacks, who might use it.

If I had to take a position I might fall into the category of blacks who see the word as defined below. – offers this definition

2.Older Use: Offensive. Belonging wholly or in part to any group of nonwhite people, especially to black

3. Older Use: Offensive. Pertaining to black people.

Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the most useless of them all? Obama rated WORST president since WW2 in embarrassing poll

BQI Editor’s Note

Does anyone see a pattern here. The most loved president is a conservative and the most despised, a flaming liberal. Reagan is loved because he was principled and drove conservative values and policies. Obama is despised because he is a radical who dislikes American and pushes socialist / communist ideas. One would think that the GOP could figure this out and begin to push true conservative....dare I say, Tea Party ideas and by doing so begin to win elections.

  • Sitting president Barack Obama was cited as the worst U.S. president out of the dozen men who have held the position dating back to 1945
  • Former Hollywood actor Ronald Reagan ranked first on survey-takers' lists, followed by philandering presidents Bill Clinton and John F. Kennedy
  • Americans are so chafed by Obama's leadership that they say the country would be better off with businessman and 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney at the helm

Americans think sitting President Barack Obama is the nation's worst leader since the last World War, according to a poll released this morning.

A third of Americans singled-out Obama as their least favorite president since 1945 in Quinnipiac University's latest presidential poll, just ahead of George W. Bush, who received 28 percent of the vote.

More On That 1975 Rape Case Haunting Hillary Clinton

How can we trust a potential president if she helps get a child rapist off?

Hillary just cannot find a way to stay out of the news. These tapes that show her laughing as she speaks about getting a rapist off for raping a 12-year-old girl are just sickening. She “loses all faith in polygraphs” and laughs as she knowingly got a man off for a rape she knew he committed.

How can she be trusted as president if she lies about such things as child raping?

Everyone deserves an aggressive legal defense but in doing so you don't have to relish in knowing you've let loose a parasite onto society.

What Economic Recovery?

By Alan Caruba, BQI Contributor and Editor of Warning Signs

You have to know that the Obama administration has run out of excuses for destroying the U.S. economy when it starts to blame it on the weather.

According to the Commerce Department, the economy based on its Gross domestic product--the value of its goods and services--fell at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.9% in the first quarter of this year. That was the largest recorded drop since the end of World War II in 1945!

The June 20 edition of The Wall Street Journal’s article, “Economy Shrank Rapidly in First Quarter” led off by reporting that “Weather disruptions at home and weak demand abroad caused a contraction in the U.S. economy in the first quarter, renewing doubts about the strength of the nation’s five-year-old recovery.”

What recovery? When the economy stays in the basement for five years you are looking at an on-going stagnation based on too much government interference with growth, the decline of the nation’s middle class, the lack of new start-up businesses, and the reluctance or inability of consumers to spend money, if they have any to spend.

In May, writing on his blog, Economic Collapse, Michael Synder pointed to “27 Hugh Red Flags for the U.S. Economy” noting, for example, that according to government numbers, “everyone is unemployed in 20 percent of all American families.” The other indicators include:

Perhaps The Strongest “I Told You So” Moment Yet

The Obama Presidency Implodes

BQI Editor’s Note

As more and more Americans wake up to the reality that the country is on a downward spiral and the main reason for it are the actions of Barack Obama, I’m reminded of a 2009 conversation with my daughter. As she struggled with trying to understand Obama’s behavior I told her that she, like so many Americans, will never understand Obama so long as she viewed him in the context of how you would expect a “typical” American president to behave. To help her understand Obama, I made one small suggestion. I told her to view him as a radical bent on lowering the prestige and power of the United States while simultaneously dismantling certain business sectors and growing government for the sole purpose of controlling the populace. If you viewed Obama through this prism, as a left winged radical, then his actions and behavior would begin to make sense.

Given the recent polls many Americans now see Obama as incompetent when in fact he is a shrewd administrator who has achieved, unbeknownst to the public, his socialist objectives for America. Those who continue to attribute his policies as failed policies refuse to see him for who he is. They find it difficult to accept the fact that America elected an extreme socialist radical perhaps even communist president. For them it’s easier to blame the state of the nation on an incompetent leader.

The Obama Presidency Implodes

By Alan Caruba, BQI Contributor and Publisher of Warning Signs

The first time I heard the term “military advisors” it was being used by John F. Kennedy and they were being sent to South Vietnam. A strong anti-communist, in 1961 Kennedy approved financing an increase in the size of the South Vietnamese army from 150,000 to 170,000 along with sending a thousand U.S. military advisors to help train them. We all know how the Vietnam War ended.

Why liberals are so UNINFORMED.

Hillary Put To Shame With Krauthammer’s Candid Reason For Her Rise To Power

RINO Thad Cochran Defeats Favorite Chris McDaniel

If it is true and RINO Cochran defeated McDaniel then the win likely came about primarily due to the black vote? How, say you, could this happen since both are “Republicans”? Well, that’s the point. Cochran is a Republican in name only, RINO, while McDaniel is a conservative Republican, better known as a Tea Party Republican. Because McDaniel surprisingly challenged Cochran in the Republican primary and was then favored to win the overall nomination, Cochran did what any red blooded politician would do, he pandered and lied. Since non Republicans could vote in the primary, Cochran ran this ad urging blacks in his district to vote for him in order to defeat having a Tea Party candidate go to the U.S. Senate.

As you will see in the ad, Cochran labeled McDaniel a racist candidate, one who holds racist beliefs and who would represent racist people, Tea Party supporters, who disrespected their beloved Barack Obama. Oh you know the guy. He’s the one who’s policies have widened the economic gap between blacks and whites; denied blacks jobs, increased black dependency on welfare, promoted aberrant behavior by encouraging black abortions; disrespected the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and generally ignored the overall condition of the black community while he lives a lavish life style, more  self-indulgent than any past president.

These are the same blacks who complain about their pathetic economic and social conditions and who then go out and vote for people and political parties –Democrats- that only make matters worse. Today, Congress has a 7% approval rating which means both blacks and whites are tired of the same old same old in Washington. Yet, in response to this disapproval, black folks not only go out and vote for people in their own party who will maintain the status quo, they then are stupid enough, so ill-informed and so racist as to vote for someone of another party who will help the people of their own party, continue to promote policies and programs that further damaged the black community.

Black people listen…..STOP IT.   The only people of the 93% who disapprove of Congress and who apparently want change are TEA PARTY supporters. They are the ones who are demanding change that will revitalize a stagnant economy, create jobs and opportunities, reduce dependency on foreign oil, improve public education and so many more areas that the black community as does all Americans, want to see happen.

If it is shown that black people once again allowed themselves to be used as door mats by supporting someone who is clearly against their interests, then I will ask a higher power to change the color of my skin for I can no longer be a part of a class or group of people so stupid, racist and moronic.

I think purple might be nice.

Saddam, the Good Old Days

By Alan Caruba, BQI Contributor and Publisher of Warning Signs

I know it’s a terrible thing to say, but sometimes I miss Saddam Hussein.

Yes, he was a cruel despot. Between September 1980 and July 1988 he pursued an eight-year war against Iran that killed an estimated combined million troops on both sides and achieved nothing. He had ruled from 1979 until 2003 when George W. Bush decided to remove him by invading Iraq, believing as other nations did that he had weapons of mass destruction. Had he not posed a constant threat to neighboring nations, he might still be in charge. He was hanged in 2006, but the U.S. would stay on until our troops were withdrawn by Barack Obama in 2011.

In places where troops have remained like Germany, Japan and South Korea, a long state of peace has existed. At their invitation we have military installations in 130 nations around the world.

“The Great Big Book of Horrible Things” by Matthew White provides a brief review of Saddam’s dictatorship, noting that “Iraq is an artificial country with borders that were drawn to suit the European colonial powers rather than to reflect local allegiances.” He could say the same thing of Syria what owes its borders to decisions made following World War One by the British and French.

Judgment Upon America For Sins Against Israel?

June 20, 2014 | Tom Olago

Is there an established pattern or relationship mainly between the natural and economic disasters that have been suffered by the United States over the years, and the times that the United States has attempted to divide Israel in favour of the Palestinians? Now the End Begins blog recently inferred as much, pointing to twelve examples (summarized below) that seem to clearly illustrate this point:

1. The Madrid Peace Conference: 31 October 1991. President George H. Bush promoted the Madrid Peace Conference, where he attempted to divide the land of Israel in exchange for “peace” with the Palestinians. The next day, a very rare huge storm starting in the north Atlantic, moving east to west, hit North America’s eastern seaboard in October 1991 and was called a “perfect storm” because of the rare combination of factors that created it. Interestingly, one of the first places The Perfect Storm hit was Kennebunkport, Maine. Waves over 30 foot demolished the home of President George H. Bush, the instigator of the Oslo Accord.

Today America is in distress largely because we have lost our desire for individualism, freedom and love of God. We have leaders and too many citizens who see America as the problem to all the ills in the world and big government as the answer. Our president tours the world apologizing for America while simultaneously pushing policies that weaken us economically, militarily and internationally.
If we are to survive as the greatest nation God ever gave to man, then we must return to God, strong values, strong families and a smaller government.

Obama’s Legacy Threatens America’s Future

By Alan Caruba, BQI Contributor and Publisher of Warning Signs

Americans are feeling the same fear for the future that preceded the Civil War when the incompetent James Buchanan left the mess that Abraham Lincoln had to address. I don’t think we have ever had a President with less knowledge of history than Barack Obama and less ability to solve domestic economic problems and address threatening foreign ones.

“Rarely has a U.S. President been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many,” said former Vice President Dick Cheney, along with his daughter Liz, in a June 18 opinion published by the Wall Street Journal. Liz has been a deputy assistant secretary of state for eastern affairs.

My fear now is that the President is not, as I originally assumed, driven just by ideology, but that he keeps demonstrating the illegal use of powers that he does not have under the Constitution, coupled with a disdain for the other branch of government, the Congress.

If Obama is eminently impeachable, but Congress is so divided that this is not an option.

Despite what his Justice Department told him, Obama disobeyed a law requiring him to give Congress a 30-day notice for the exchange of terrorist detainees from Guantanamo Bay. His use of executive orders may meet some legal standard, but they are often his way of getting around legal limitations such as his wish to open America’s borders to the flood of illegal immigrants we are seeing.

There is some comfort in being someone who warned against electing him both times, but there is no comfort in reviewing the harm he has done to date. Only a major Republican victory in the November midterm elections will offer any protection against him until he leaves office.

“How Not to Help Black Americans”

BQI Editor’s Note

As I read today’s post,   I was reminded of my childhood and the condition of the black family. Yes, during the 1950s through the 1960s, my black neighborhood, as I suspect most black neighborhoods, were ideal settings for raising kids. Two parent families, where in most cases the father worked two jobs while the mother remained at home raising the children, were pretty standard. The church was the center of social activity; children attended segregated schools and were taught by teachers who demanded excellence.  Black owned business, shoe repair and barber shops, grocery stores, cleaners, black doctors and lawyers as well as black owned movie theaters etc. provided the products and services that furthered a spirit of community. Cotillions were the “coming out” social events of the year for young black girls [who had yet to experience the joy of pregnancy] and provided all an opportunity to dress in white flowing gowns while young men wore slick black tuxes. Yes, for many in the black community, life during this period was good, but not perfect.

Discrimination remained in society. Separate but equal was the battle cry for those unwilling to provide blacks with equal access and certain opportunities. But while some things were denied to the black community, I assert that, in many ways, the community was better off.

What the Great Society brought to the black community was a trade-off. In return for guarantees for more equal outcomes by re-distributive policies, the black community agreed, as history now shows, to surrender a more idyllic rugged individualism, strong values, independence, strong families and  a can do attitude.

A time of darkness in America?

BQI Editor’s Note

Folks, I've stated on numerous occasions that America was at a tipping point and that decisions, by the American public, on who will lead the country will determine not if we survive as a Republic, but rather if we will have to enter a dark period; a time when liberties are lost and people are left with the belief that to restore them will require that citizens take up arms against a tyrannical government. I hope and pray that it does not come to this but unfortunately I firmly believe that we now have a government that actually desires such an outcome and is using several strategies to achieve it.

For the last six years we have seen an amazing level of government growth, control and suppression or threat of suppression of our freedoms. For an equal period of time Glenn Beck predicted such behavior, from the Obama Administration, that would result in these losses. However, because our liberal media was invested in protecting Obama and because the same media has surrender all pretense of journalistic integrity, we now have a populous that is ill informed and thus one that makes decisions on governance that are, ironically, against their own interest and certainly those for a successful and growing economy and nation.

Several years ago BQI posted an article titled “A Clear and Present Danger to the United States of America”. In the article we established the lack of substance, truth and accuracy in reporting by the liberal media. No, what the media seems to be good at is mocking and ridiculing people who actually perform some level of homework and who report facts.

In the case of Glenn Beck, he reported simple facts that would enable any reasonable person to draw logical conclusions. Glenn, using their own words, reported that Islamic extremist would work toward the creation of an Islamic state; a caliphate if you will. This prediction elicited amazing and heated vitriol, mocking and criticism by the liberal mainstream media. These actions, by the media, came about for one purpose and one purpose only; to protect Barack Obama, a man bent on the fundamental transformation of America; a transformation either unknown or not understood by the liberal media or one which the media agrees with and desires to see happen.

Today we now see just how accurate Glenn Beck was in his prediction and how uninformed and out of reality is our mainstream media. The videos below further support BQI’s prior conclusion about the liberal media and the resulting impact their fraudulent, inaccurate and bias reporting is having on the nation.

America is now past the tipping point. We are seeing the aftermath of Barack Obama’s fundamental transformation of America; a transformation that has weakened the nation and struck fear in the people. Today Americans have little to no trust in government; corruption and mismanagement exists on a massive scale by the federal government; destructive polices are stifling economic growth; we have a demoralized military; a mis-informed public unable to make decisions that are in their and the nation’s best interest; the suppression of rights such that people now fear to speak out or stand against an intolerant government that they know will use the force of government in retaliation and scandals, too many to recount here.

In the videos below Glenn recounts the events and subsequent mocking he received by the liberal mainstream media for his prediction on the rise of an Islamic caliphate. More important though, Glenn talks about what he sees on the horizon and what we, Americans, should do. If history is any measurement of future success, Americans should know that we are in a time that will see more destruction, angst and misery. However, as Glenn noted there is a way out.

Just assume we have a climate crisis

President Obama is now warning us that “storms like Hurricane Sandy will become more frequent as climate change intensifies.” It’s merely the latest in the administration’s seemingly endless stream of headline-grabbing scare stories, designed to justify the job-killing, economy-strangling, family-bashing rules for vehicles, power plants, cement kilns, refineries, factories, farms, shopping malls and countless other facilities that are or ...

BQI Editor’s Comment Why is it so difficult to see the Sharia threat to America and the world? Why are liberals and progressives so blind to history and unable to see history repeating itself?
